Time to role out our summer Kenyan coffee. This coffee comes from the Ibonia Estate that grows the SL-28 & SL-34 varietals. Given the SL-28 varietal, this coffee has that smooth, creamy , buttery style of body feel with the traditional wine/ grape notes of a Kenyan coffee. It has a melon / honeydew mild style acidity & sweetness. Our favorite part of this coffee is the dimensionality. It layers the smooth creamy body with its mild green grape acidity on top of its honeydew sweetness, then finishes with a cinnamon baking spice note to round out the flavor profile. This will be one of your favorite coffees this year.
