We made a batch of espresso roasted beans out of the Girma Eshetu Micro Lot and added a shot of Jim Beam Barrel Aged Coffee - You will find a creamy, SMOOTH bodied espresso with flavor notes of honey, buttery toast, apricot, elder-flower, white tea followed by a sweet liquor aftertaste. We only added a "shot" of the barrel aged to bring some sweetness and complexity without overwhelming you to the blend. This has been a favorite around the Roastery for the last week as we have tested different blend ratios.
This is the Roastery's favorite espresso blend so far this year.
