This is the 2nd coffee in our series of micro lots we sourced from Colombia this year. Micro Lot #2 comes from the farm Finca la Esperanza owned by Anibal Pillimue. Coffee is a family business with his brother owning the farm next door. Anibal's farm has approximately 4,000 trees over 1.5 hectares which produced roughly 10 -70Kg bags of green coffee to sell on the world market. We were able to secure 2- 70kg bags for our Black Label Colombia Micro Lot Series. We were lucky to grab a portion of Anibal Pillimue's rare harvest this year. Supporting small farmers like Anibal is what this micro lot series is all about.
A washed processed Tabi and San Bernando varietal coffee, sun dried on raised beds, fermented for 36 hours.
