Organic Certified- NOP. Girma Eshetu Estate is located in Bita Genet District near the small village of Amecha-Mechata. The farm is named after the farmer, Mr. Girma Eshetu, who has over two decades of experience running his family farm.
We have rolled out a bunch of coffees that pack a punch of flavors lately. Its time we take a step back with a much more softer, more approachable coffee. The Ethiopia Girma Eshetu does that. The body is smooth and creamy but not as heavy as the costa ricans or the last couple Ethiopian black labels. You still get the sweetness of an African coffee but more in the notes of lavender, lilac, apricot, honey, elderflower, and white tea. The softer notes makes this an easy drinking coffee. It's one you will sip and ease yourself into the morning with. You will find yourself wanting another cup fairly quickly and soon realize you just had 3 cups before 9am. This is a coffee you will never get tired of and enjoy all day long.
