Puerto Rican Rum Barrel Aged Coffee (12oz)
We took a Cup of Excellence award winning Burundi coffee and aged it in a Puerto Rican Rum Barrel. We shorten the amount of time the coffee has aged to 2 months. The shorter amount of time in the barrel allowed the COE Burundi coffee to pick up the sweetness of rum without making it overpowering. The sweet rum flavors complement the fruit vanilla notes of the Burundi coffee perfectly. Notes of candied orange, vanilla, marzipan, cocoa with the sweet hints of pineapple and starfruit.This is a coffee you will enjoy from beginning to end.
