The point of our Black Label program is to bring you unique coffees from around the world. WE ARE SUPER EXCITED TO BRING YOU OUR 1ST HONEY PROCESSED COFFEE. During the Honey Process, coffee is dried with some or all of the mucilage remaining on the parchment encasing the coffee bean. The degree to how long the coffee bean is allowed to dry with the mucilage on it, from the least (about a week) to the most (about three), is called yellow, red, and black honey. The drying times is another way to effect the flavor coffee. By regulating the drying time it is believed you can regulate how much flavor from the mucilage is absorbed into the coffee bean. Honey process is in between a natural coffee where nothing is removed from the coffee bean to washed coffee where everything is removed.
